Review: Beuberry Poppy green & Barbie Puffy 3 tone blue

This review is something I wanted to do a loooong time ago. Since there aren't that many circle lens reviews on green eyes (or light eyes in general), I thought this might help someone. I am not getting paid for doing this and lenses are bought with 100% my own money so this was made of my own accord. I must apologize for bad pictures, taking photos with flash was difficult and also for some reason my focusing didn't turn out that well. First of all, here is a photo of my natural green eye color.

1st: G&G Shinny Aqua blue (= Barbie Puffy 3 tone blue)

Diameter: 16.5mm
Base curve: 8.6
Water content: 38%
Replacement period: 12 months

Color & design:
Perfect! I wanted to get blue lenses but it's hard to find ones that would match with my green eyes. These instead blend really well to one's natural eye color and they also look very natural. I usually prefer lenses with tiny black rim, but in my opinion these are just fine without. Color is nice and bright, it pops out but not too much to make my eyes look overly fake.

Enlargement:
They are claimed to be 16mm lenses with 17mm effect. My eyes sure do look a bit larger, but I'd probably say the're more like 15mm or so. Without black rim they do not enlarge as much as I wish but if you're looking for natural eyes rather than fake&gay, these are the lenses to go.

Comfort:
When I first put them on it felt like my lower lids were on fire. It still takes my eyes some time to get used to them, but after that they feel like nothing. When I went to ESC, I had to wear these 17 hours continuously (I don't recommend doing so) and didn't feel fuzzy at all. So if I know there won't be a chance to take my lenses off for a while, these are my trusted friends.

Overall:
Great lenses, after my eyes get used to them. They look very natural and their vivid color blends well to your own eye color.

2nd pair: Beuberry Poppy Green

Diameter: 16mm
Base curve: 8.6
Water content: 55%
Replacement period: 12 months

Color & design:
Finding a perfect match for my eye color is difficult, but I think this is quite close! Even though the green is colder than mine, they blend really well. Unfortunately these lenses are quite dark (especially in indoor light) and I'm not sure how well this great design would show off on darker eyes. But I am very pleased. Black rim makes my eyes look extremely huge and in my opinion the color still looks somewhat natural.

Enlargement:
Size is told to be 16mm and that's pretty much how they appear to be. The effect given by these lenses is amazing! just enough to make people look twice ^^ What else can I say? I love them.

indoor
Comfort:
I've had some bad experience with circle lenses before and after that these felt like angels' whispers on my eyeballs. Due to their high water content (55%) I can recommend them for dry-eyed people as well. One day I forgot to put lens solution to their case, but some liquid revived them overnight and they are as good as new! I've also been wearing them up to +12 hours continuously (recommendation is 6-8h) and I still haven't got cancer. Ofc because they are so.. watery, they are a bit thicker than average lenses, so I can clearly feel them when blinking. Also they aren't the ideal ones to wear during the wintertime (at least if it's -25c like here) because they are so huge and it felt like my eyes were freezing D:

Overall:
I think these lenses are great if used in accordance with the instructions. They look natural, yet dolly and the color pops out at least on light eyes. So far my favorite lenses, 5/5 would recommend.

My first ever review, how bad is it? Not something that I would normally post but I wish you enjoyed anyways.

#JoinUs! ESC 2014 3/3

I'm back from Denmark. Dad wanted to reward my good grades and so we took a flight to Copenhagen. I've been there earlier but that time we only visited the countryside. This time my destination was worlds greatest music contest! It was so awesome to see everything behind the cameras e.g. all the preparations, black ninjas all over the stage even during performances, karaoke for audience before the actual show and amazing spirit! Many songs were better in real life, Russia's song for example was actually kinda good. So here are some of the photos I took. Mostly "behind the scenes" stuff because if you want to see Eurovision itself you could just watch it online.

"Fan mile" filled with banners, little food stands and stuff

For some reason this is one of my favorite photos from the trip

Tom of Finland spotted!

Malmö?

#happywall

Denmark - Where even power outlets are smiling

It was SO CLOUDY nearly all the time so I was extremely happy to see a glimpse of blue

Visited Kastrup. Warning, boring "pretty" photos ahead!

Embassy of Finland

That grass kinda reminds me of Teletubby land

B&W halls

I've been in Copenhagen earlier, but never  bothered visiting The Little Mermaid statue

Well at least I wasn't alone

Fancy-pancy socks

Tivoli

Eurovision village

Where can I get these, please

MEP-elections were coming, as you can tell

They were showing semi-finals (& the grand final as well) on screen

Only in Denmark

If you think I'm always wearing fancy outfits, you are terribly wrong. On Friday I was wearing brown maxi-skirt with brown coat and rocking horse shoes, so exciting! Nevertheless, some people still asked if they could take a photo with me D: Saturday was loli-day feat my romper. Random Irish guy told me that if I ever participated in ESC I would make it to the final no matter what I sang because my legs are so awesome. I totally agree.

Random fishy face

I bought myself a Pascal from Disney store ♥
Hot dogs or hot legs?

SOON

There were DOZENS of karaoke-stands, filled with Eurovision hits of course.

There were bars, sandwiches, live music and stuff behind the entrance gates

It was HUGE

People were already shouting for Conchita before we were even inside (dat face in the corner tho)

I got beer spilled (or poured) on me at least seven times, but thanks to it I met so many amazing people there! These lovely girls were from Austria (obv) and I also chatted up with some nice Frenchmen, Brits and extremely good-looking Norwegians. Unfortunately, I didn't ask anyone's name. Sigh u_u

Mm yeah wipe it

One of the staff members had a birthday and we sang to him ^^

Some people in the crowd had confetti cannons for the hosts' entrance thingy

WHAT TEAM

Second row, bitches! In front of me were only these ~160 cm Spaniards so no one was blocking my view. I had ticket for floor one, but no idea where it was. Nobody was checking tickets anyway so I just joined the Fan zone

Work in progress...

Azerbaijan, Norway, Armenia, Poland, Austria, Sweden, Russia (look how tiny they are!)

I wasn't able to hear anything what the hosts were saying but luckily there were "subtitles" lel

Yay Nordic nails

I don't know whether this was shown on TV, but the audience was waving rainbow flags & hooting during the WHOLE Russian perform. I felt so sorry for the twins it almost made me cry. People need to understand that Putin's opinion =/= Russians' opinion. These sweet girls have done nothing bad to anyone and oh my gosh I'm so angry but hopefully you get my point.

Tolmachevy Sisters. They were so cute! ♥

Conchita

My flaggy flag

First I was little worried...

I am more than pleased by the results, at least the top three. I'm so glad the jury enjoyed Conchita as well. Netherlands did way better than I thought it would and our placement wasn't bad either!

B&W halls exploded while Conchita's reprise

Random selca after the show. AND IT WAS SO AWESOME! I still need to watch it online and try to spot myself.

Home sweet home, back to gray and depressing Finland.

In addition to the Swedish flag I was wearing, I managed to find Icelandic & Austrian flags.

Italy's Emma
Olisin halunnut jäädä pidemmäksikin aikaa toki, mutta koeviikko kutsui. Tänään korkkasin sen kiinalla, jonka suoritin vartissa. Liian helpot kokeet on aina karmivia! ^^

Of course I would've liked to stay there a little bit longer, but school was calling. Today I had Chinese test and somehow I managed to finish it in 15 minutes (we had two hours). On Sunday I will go to Hanami and currently I'm trying to finish my shironuri-lolita outfit. Wig still on its way but I've got my fingers crossed! I just hope the weather will get better by weekend ^^
